Finally a dope music festival on the east coast! I’ve been hearing some buzz about it since last week but tonight I was finally able to find some more info. Its called the Firefly Music Festival -the East Coast’s newest and biggest music festival. From July 20th-22nd, located in Dover, Delaware the lineup will include artists such as
The Black Keys
The Killers
Death Cab
Cake
Lupe Fiasco
AWOLNATION
Jack White & about 20 more!
It’s supposed to be so huge they’re offering hot air balloon rides to fly above the crowds & view the stage. Firefly has even come up with “glamping” (seriously, glamour camping), and includes luxury tents that have queen beds, indoor & outdoor furniture, private shower trailers & air-conditioned restrooms, and an exclusive Glamping Lounge with a bar & breakfast buffet.
Aside from the glamourous camping & awesome music there will be other attractions like “The Brewery” (the craft beer tent), “The Vineyard” (a pop-up wine bar), an interactive art gallery, and an arcade full of skee ball, foos ball, and pinball.
It’s like 4 hours away -so no further than a trip to RU’s quadfest —but definitely a great move for a mid-summer road trip! This music Festival seems dope as hell & the tickets are on sale now. Check out more info @ fireflyfestival.com
